Being on the move, experiencing freedom, being spontaneous, not knowing what is happening, where exactly you will be in the next moment and which people you will meet. These are things that inspire Vees again and again. Therefore, the need arose - especially after the pandemic - to take a short trip. The video work “Des macht ma net” ("You do not do that") shows excerpts from a hitchhiking trip to the 2022 Venice Biennale. The journey took two days and covered around 700km with the help of three drivers.
